Stars in the Sky is a textured, square shawl that is seamlessly knit in three sections. First a center square is knit on the bias in a simple textured stitch pattern. Second, stitches are picked up along the outer edge of the square and a star stitch border is knit around the center square. The border can either be worked in one colour or incorporate subtle striping to showcase the gentles colour gradations. Last, a simple crochet picot edgeing is worked around the outside of the shawl.
